From: Realist approach to community-based participatory research on a community health break-down in Japan: mechanism reasoning, knowledge and a trust partnership

Mechanism (Resources) + context → Mechanism (Reasoning) = Outcome

Using this formula, it became clearer whether data contributed contextually or mechanistically, could identify mechanism components (resource and reasoning), which are different depending on the contexts.
