Optimisation of oral anticoagulant medication. For example, a study may refer to aspects of medicines optimisation without specifically identifying this as such. Therefore, studies were included if they referred to safe prescribing, monitoring, adherence, safety, appropriate use, barriers to use, efficacy, adverse effects, or benefits of oral anticoagulants in elderly patients.
